- Below each section heading, one sentence now says what the section is for, like on the settings pages in the Shopify admin. "Add rule" sits next to the "Rules" heading, and below the list on a phone.
- The texts on the page are shorter and free of technical terms.
- The drag handle and the icon buttons no longer shift the row when their hint appears.
- On a phone, a rule's switch, edit and delete buttons sit below its text, so the text has enough room.

Explanations below the heading, simpler wording
Rules in a dialog, drag handle and suggestions
- You now edit a rule in a dialog, like a shipping rate in the Shopify admin. If something is missing, it's shown in red at the field, and the cursor moves there.
- You change an order with the handle on the left of the row: drag it, or use Space and the arrow keys. The arrow buttons are gone.
- Below "Add payment method" there are suggestions: names already on the page, and measured names of Shopify payment methods with their name at checkout.
Save bar like in the Shopify admin
- "Save" and "Discard" are now in the bar at the top of the Shopify admin, as on Shopify's own settings pages. It appears as soon as something isn't saved, and asks before discarding. Leaving the page with unsaved changes asks first, too.
- The app's own menu item no longer appears twice under the app name.
- Help and FAQ now say what Shopify allows by plan and country: in the United States and Canada, credit card fields can only be customized on Shopify Plus.

Previewrules, test run and English
- New: rules. A rule hides payment methods, shows them only under conditions, sets a custom order or renames them.
- Conditions are available on the customer (tag, number of orders, amount spent, logged in or guest), the cart (subtotal without shipping, product with a tag, gift card, only items without shipping, subscription item), country, language and delivery method.
- The test run shows, for a situation you enter, which payment methods checkout shows and which rule applies to each.
- The safety net prevents a checkout without any payment method.
- The base order now has up to 10 entries instead of 20. There are also limits for rules, names and tags, so the calculation at checkout stays safely within Shopify's compute budget.
- The interface is now also available in English, following the language of your Shopify admin.
1
Previewbase order
- The app decides which payment methods are at the top of checkout, and in which order. All others follow in the order Shopify gives them.
- The customization can be turned on and off without losing your settings.
